Follow these guidelines for accurate analysis.
Camera Setup
Proper camera positioning is critical for accurate analysis.

Treadmill recording: portrait mode, 3–5m distance from behind or side

Side view camera positioning for running gait analysis
Treadmill recording
Record in portrait mode. Place the camera vertically and keep 3–5m distance from the person's back or side. Frame the full body from head to toe in the center for both side and back analysis.

Outdoor recording
Record in landscape mode. Place the camera at chest height (about 1.3–1.6m) and 3–5m away from the side. Outdoor recording supports side analysis only; back analysis may be less accurate.
