Recording guide
Follow these guidelines for accurate analysis.
01

Treadmill recording
Set your phone to portrait (vertical) orientation and place it 3–5 meters behind or beside the treadmill. Frame the runner's full body from head to toe in the center of the screen. Use a tripod or prop the phone against a stable surface to prevent shaky footage.
02

Outdoor recording
Shoot in landscape (horizontal) orientation outdoors. Position the camera at chest height — roughly 1.3–1.6 m off the ground — and 3–5 meters to the side of the runner's path. Outdoor recording supports side-view analysis only. Keep the camera stationary and let the runner pass through the frame — tracking the subject by moving the camera will result in inaccurate measurements.
